Don’t get Social Media? Don’t understand twitter but lots of other people use it and you think you should too? Don’t worry about it – join a Speak for Yourself course.
Our courses start anytime we have enough people together to start one – at least 10, maximum of 30, ideally around 20. All participants join a virtual classroom for an introductory hour-long session, which is mostly dedicated to organising and introducing the platform. There are few instructions to begin with. We then need to agree on a time where we can meet for our weekly sessions. The instructions last about half an hour and after that is time for Q&A.
We create a special area for you – a Social Media playground which works just like twitter but is a protected space. You become each others’ audience, and the only homework you have is to post at least three status updates every day. Just as if you were using the “real” twitter. You can post more, but not less.
